This book is hard to describe and it was hard to put down... I wanted to know if it was really happening or if it was all make-pretend.Poor Cameron is just an ordinary kid who has some weird symptoms and is finally taken to the doctor. There he discovers that he is going to die of mad-cow disease. The rest of the book is not doom and gloom, but an amazing adventure as Cameron tries to learn the meaning of life and is willing to do whatever it takes to survive.

Libba Bray's new book: Beauty Queens
The fifty contestants in the Miss Teen Dream Pageant thought this was going to be a fun trip to the beach, where they could parade in their state-appropriate costumes and compete in front of cameras.
